Dog Party Games for the Animal in You

Kids who love dogs will love these dog party games to play around the house or at their next dog themed party.
Pass the Bone: These Dog party games are a fun relay race. Have everyone at the party divide into two groups. All of them are pretending to be dogs playing with their bones. Get two decent sized rawhide bones. Have the players’ line up in two straight rows. Give each player at the end of the rows one rawhide bone to place between their chin and their chest.
The players at the dog party games will turn to the player next to them and pass the bone only by holding it between their chin and chest. The player receiving the bone can only receive it grabbing it under their chin. No touching with your hand. The first group at the dog party games to get the bone from one end of the line to the other is the winners!

For these dog party games you’ll need to do a little preparation for these Dog party games before the party. You’ll need 46 large white poster board pieces about 6 by 7 inches, but you can also use 8 ½ by 11 inch sheets of paper. Write one letter of the alphabet on each sheet. Do this twice so there are two separate sets of sheets with the entire alphabet on them.
The players of the Dog party games will get into two teams of 12 players and each player will have 2 sheets of paper, with the exception of one player who will get one sheet in each group. You can play this dog party game with less people, its just that each player will get more sheets they need to manipulate.
Start by calling out a simple dog party games related word, such as dog, and each group will begin get in the proper order to form that word. Not every player will be used for each of the spellings. Make sure you have enough room in the party area for each group to spell out Dog themed words. The group that forms the word correctly first wins a point. Keep on calling out words.
Though you may not have a lot of guests coming to your dog party games you’ll still be able to make these two games fit with those attending your party, and if a lot of people come then you’ll be able to make the games fit for a larger group as well!
