Creative invitations can help build excitement before a party. If you have the time to make your own, here are some ideas to get you started:
Cut a dog bone shape out of white cardstock. Punch a hole in the top and attach a metal key ring. Write the party details on one side of the “dog tag” and mail to your guests.
Fold a sheet of paper in half to create a card-style invitation. Draw a large paw print on the front. Run a glue stick within the lines of the paw and toes and sprinkle white glitter on top. Write your party details on the inside.
Attach a card-style invitation to a small squeaky dog toy and hand-deliver your invitations or mail them in padded envelopes.
Cut the shape of a fire hydrant out of red construction paper and write the party details on one side.
Use creative wording for the party details, such as:

I'd maybe say such things as..
Come have a Dog gone good time
Have a happy dog day afternoon with us

Ooh, how cute! I suggest puppy hats, plates, cups, pinata. Do you have a puppy, or know someone who does? Bring it over for a play, or really surprise her and get a puppy for her birthday! Although, she is only three. Perhaps a stuffy would do thr trick instead. Decorate the main party room with pictures of puppies and puppy collages. Play "Pin the tail on the puppy!" If your willing or you know someone who is, dress up as a puppy for your daughter and her friends! Have a puppy parade, and give everyone little puppy dog ears and tails! Get a puppy movie for them to watch. For party favours, little stuffed puppies, little toy plastic ones at your average dollar store, maybe little puppy piggy banks and things like that. my boyfriend is having a bday BBQ and since we have a big fenced in yard, we told all our friends to bring their doggies too. so far, we have a kiddie pool, 2 sand boxes, a cake from three-dog-bakery.....but we wanted to know if you guys had any cool ideas for games, raffles, and other fun stuff? what are good toys to put in the sandbox and pool? should we hide treats in the sandbox or is that a no-no? this is new to us....as you can tell. lol.

You don't want sandy treats! You can hide toys in the sandbox, and have a game for which dog digs out the most! You're going to want them to be partially visible too.

Also, you can have the dogs "bob for hotdogs" Not whole ones, but cut up pieces. You can do this in the kiddie pool.

You could have a "sit contest". (see who stays!)

Not to rain a little on the parade, but you should make sure all dogs are up-to-date on their vaccinations, or they shouldn't come!

I want to throw a Party for some of the neighbors dogs (They treat their dogs like kids) and mine. Is there any good ideas? Their will be 8 to 10 dogs coming.

I would have someone dress up in a red suit with white whiskers and take pictures with each dog to give to my guest to take home to remember the event first i would make them each a doggie stocking maybe with a small affordable toy made for their breed size i would make some doggie cookies for like a buffet for treats also breed size cookies different ones and kinds i would arrange for some tricks and games with little prizes so everyone can participate together owners as well as their pet and everyone could hang out with play time and swap ideas and advice this sounds like a very fun time i wish i could go with my pet LOL i hope you have fun and all your guests sounds like a great idea HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL!

You could decorate with the red tartan plaid that's often associated with Scottie dogs (a piece of plaid fabric could easily make a nice tablecloth). Plain red plates and napkins are readily available, and would look cute. Then, you could use pictures of Scottie dogs as centerpieces and decorations.
