Poodle Birthday Party

In 2007 we rescued a litter of nine 10-day old Standard Poodle puppies. The owner turned them to a kill shelter. The pups were in foster home and then adopted to new loving homes. These pictures are from the puppies 1-year birthday party.

Robin’s Dog Stars – Dog Trick Show at Childrens Birthday Party

Robin Bengtson, famed Chicago area dog trainer has been training dogs since 1990 and have successfully trained thousands of dogs since then. She has worked with almost every type of dog. This video is just a short sampling of the full length (40-45 minute) dog trick show. You'll see Starlight perform many tricks and afterwards Starlight stays to teach and interact with the children.

Sassy’s 15th Birthday Party

June 13th, 2009.

My dog Sassafrass Ann's (Sassy for short) 15th birthday party! I figured, hey, she's made it 15 long healthy years, she deserves a party!! That's me "helping her" open her gifts and such. We had so much fun and she got some great, yummy treats, and some fun toys, and a book for me called "Loving Your Senior Dog", which has some great info on helping keep your elderly dog healthy and happy! There were roughly 15 human guests and 7 doggie guests that attended, including the staff from her vet's office, Balsm Road Animal Hospital.

Thanks to those of you who came to show some love to my old girl!! It meant so much to us for you to be there to celebrate her special day!!

Invitations, decorations, plates, cups, party hats, paw-print balloons, and other items used at the party were gotten from Wal-Mart and two different websites online. If you wish to throw a pet party Google "dog birthday party supplies" and you get listings for lots of pet party websites. Change the word "dog" for the word "cat" if you prefer. There are some great sites out there that offer some fun and neat things for pet birthday parties! Check them out!

The 'Happy 15th Birthday' and the 'Scooby Doo' balloons from a local store called "The Home & Party Store".
Cake was special made in "Hoops & Yoyo" theme, with one of Sassy's puppy pictures in the center, by Bi-Lo grocery store.
